Fix a dose you recorded by mistake
A record is only worth keeping if it is accurate, so everything in it can be changed back.
Today
- Find the dose on the Today screen.
- Swipe it and tap Undo.
- The record is cleared and the dose is open again, ready to be answered properly.
An earlier day
- Open History and tap the day on the calendar.
- Find the dose in the day's list.
- Change what was recorded, or clear it.
What changing it affects
Adherence figures, the streak of perfect days and the doctor's report all follow the record, so correcting a mistake corrects them too. Stock follows as well: undoing a dose that was never taken puts its amount back.
A dose recorded twice
Each planned dose has one slot and can only be recorded once, so there is nothing to duplicate. For an as-needed medicine, where every log is its own entry, remove the extra one from the day in History.
FAQ
- Can I change the time a dose was taken at?
- The record keeps the moment you recorded it. To correct a dose taken much earlier, clear it and record it on the right day in History.
- Does undoing a dose bring back its reminder?
- If the dose time has not passed, yes — the plan is rebuilt whenever anything changes.
- Can I delete the whole history?
- Deleting a medicine removes the doses recorded for it. There is no single button for wiping everything except deleting the app, which removes the lot.
Pill Reminder helps you remember your medicines and keep a record of them. It does not give medical advice, suggest doses or check interactions. If you are unsure about a medicine or a dose, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Never miss a dose again
Pill Reminder reminds you at the right time, records the dose from the Lock Screen, looks after the whole family's medicines, and keeps a history you can hand to a doctor — all on your iPhone, with no account.
