Terms of Use
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of Novaz: Pill Reminder & Tracker (the “App”) and our website (together, the “Services”). Our Privacy Policy also applies. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the Services. We may revise these Terms, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Not medical advice
Pill Reminder is a reminder and a record. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. It does not recommend doses, does not tell you what to do about a dose you have missed, and does not check for interactions between medicines or with anything else you take. Nothing in the App or on this website is a substitute for the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified health professional.
Always follow the instructions given by whoever prescribed or supplied your medicine, and the leaflet that came with it. If a reminder, a record or anything in the App disagrees with that advice, the advice is right. If you feel unwell or are unsure about a medicine, speak to a health professional; in an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
The Services
Pill Reminder lets you record the medicines you or someone you look after take, schedule reminders for them, record each dose as taken or skipped, track how much stock is left, review a history of what was recorded, and produce a PDF report of that history. Our website provides information and how-to guides.
Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee
Reminders are delivered by your device’s operating system. Whether one arrives depends on things outside our control, including your notification permissions, Focus modes, silent mode, Scheduled Summary, Low Power Mode, how many notifications your device will hold at once, the battery, and whether the device is switched on. You should not rely on the App as the only means of remembering a medicine where missing a dose would be harmful. Keep whatever other arrangements you and your health professional think appropriate.
Your data is on your device
Your medicines, doses, profiles and settings are stored in the App’s own database on your device. We never receive them, and there is no account to recover them from. Deleting the App deletes them. Keeping a backup file is your responsibility, and restoring one replaces everything currently in the App. We are not able to recover data that has been deleted or overwritten.
Looking after someone else
If you use the App to manage another person’s medicines, you are responsible for having their agreement or the authority to act for them, and for the accuracy of what you enter about them.
Your responsibilities
- You may use the Services only if you are 13 years or older.
- You are responsible for the information you enter — names, strengths, schedules, dose times and amounts — and for keeping it in line with what you have actually been prescribed.
- You are responsible for checking that reminders are arriving as you expect, and for acting on them.
Purchases and subscriptions
Pill Reminder PRO is an auto-renewing subscription, offered yearly, monthly, or weekly with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and is processed by Apple; trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds are subject to Apple's terms. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you start a free trial, you will be charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
PRO adds profiles for other people, alarm-style reminders, history older than 30 days and the PDF report. Reminders themselves are never affected by a subscription. If PRO ends, every medicine keeps reminding you, alarm-style reminders fall back to ordinary notifications, and nothing already recorded is deleted.
