Your medication history and what adherence means
Memory is a poor witness. “I take it most days” and “I took it 19 times out of 30” are different answers, and only one of them is useful in a consulting room.
The calendar
History shows a month at a time, each day marked by how much of that day's plan was recorded as taken. Tap a day to see the doses themselves — what was planned, what was taken and when, what was skipped and what was missed.
What adherence counts
Doses taken as a share of doses planned, over the period shown. A skipped dose counts as not taken, because it was not. An as-needed medicine plans no doses, so it does not move the figure either way. A day with nothing planned is not counted against you.
The figure is shown for the last 7 and 30 days, and the app also counts perfect days in a row — days where everything planned was recorded as taken.
30 days free, everything with PRO
The free version shows the last 30 days. Older days are locked — but they are never deleted. PRO unlocks everything already recorded, however far back it goes, and if PRO lapses the history is simply locked again rather than lost.
Reading it honestly
A low figure is information, not a verdict. It usually means the times do not fit the day rather than that anyone is careless — a dose set for 07:00 on a phone that is still charging in the hall is a dose that will keep being missed. Move the time and watch the figure move.
FAQ
- Is a missed dose different from a skipped one?
- Yes. Skipped is something you chose; missed is a dose that was never answered. Both count as not taken, and the record keeps them apart.
- Can I fix a day I forgot to record?
- Yes — open that day in the calendar and record what actually happened.
- Does history work for each family member separately?
- Yes. Each person has their own calendar, their own figures and their own report.
Pill Reminder helps you remember your medicines and keep a record of them. It does not give medical advice, suggest doses or check interactions. If you are unsure about a medicine or a dose, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Never miss a dose again
Pill Reminder reminds you at the right time, records the dose from the Lock Screen, looks after the whole family's medicines, and keeps a history you can hand to a doctor — all on your iPhone, with no account.
